Meet the Leadership Team
The Keck PREP Leadership Team is a group of Keck PREP Undergraduate scholars who contribute to the Keck PREP community building beyond the first year in MEDS 120. This group manages the website, social media, coordinates events and workshops, offer mentoring and support for any questions.
Jamie Perez
Jamie Perez is a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention and a minor in Cultural Competence in Medicine. She is from East Los Angeles, California. Jamie joined Keck PREP to build meaningful connections with peers and mentors in the health professions while being part of a supportive community dedicated to personal and professional growth.
Kamber Puebla
Kamber Puebla is a junior human biology major from Gunter, Texas! Kamber wanted to join Keck Prep in order to build a community with people who are here to build each other up.
Melissa Peruch
Melissa Peruch is a junior studying Health and Human Sciences, with an emphasis on the Sociology of Health, and minoring in Occupational Science. She is from Reseda, California. Melissa joined Keck PREP because she wanted to be immersed in a supportive community and connect with individuals who share a similar story to hers.
Maliek Redmond
Hey guys! My name is Maliek and I’m a senior studying Biological Sciences (Biotechnology) and minoring in Healthcare Studies. I grew up in Edinburg, Texas, and I joined Keck PREP because I wanted to give back to the community that’s helped me along my college years and support other amazing students on their pre-health journeys!
Andrew Paresa
Andrew Paresa is a sophomore studying Biochemistry with a minor in Health Care Studies. He is from Hilo, Hawai'i and plans to return home to practice medicine in oncology. Andrew joined Keck PREP because he strongly believes in the importance of community in the healthcare field.
